Thanks for the compliments..
I can shoot infinity but i did some special things..
1. the plastic holder of the 5D MKII camera mirror was cutted for near 1mm.. so the mirror stopped only in the upper 1/3 area of the rear lens.. and goes down without a problem
If i shoot with max aperture f1.2, there is no darkening in the picture.. but if you use the aperture, you will see a small part of the image like vignetting. Thats all.
So i can use the lens as i want on the 5D MKII..
On last photokina in Cologne it tryed the new EOS 6 D on Canon counter.. no Problem with the mirror issue. Seemed to have a bit smaller mirror.
If i want to shoot without the mirror Issue on 5 D MKII , the lens after conversion and "camera- mod" can reach about 15-20 meters.
Cheers

This was a non reversible conversion.. because i destroyed the chrome ring for give the lens her identity back..
It was a breechlock FD... and has to look like a breechlock FD..
In the added picture you see the special adjustable new rear lens holder, which gives me the ability to really "finetune" the rear lens.. only thing i have to do, is to adjust also the internal limiters for the rest of the optical system to hold the correct distance from the rear lens..
So for me this works great, as you can see in the pictures..
Cheers
