Hello folks,

It's a 2.8 45mm Tessar lens, on an acquaintances' Contaflex II. And it looks like it has either haze (hopefully not) or fungus.

I'd like to help him out by removing and hopefully cleaning the lens. But I'm not sure if you can remove the lens easily, like I can with my Contaflex Beta. Does anyone know how to do this, or have any ideas/suggestions?

And I have just read on Wikipedia that this is a 'fixed' lens, so I'm assuming this is a no go. Sad

If it was fitted, then it can be removed but how? You may not have to take off the lens entirely, perhaps the elements can be removed seperately.

There is a classic camera repair site where you may find information. I understand it was closed but there is an archived version. You could find something here:
