Here are two very different ones from Christmas. First is our undecorated Christmas lights from my Yashinon 50/1.4 which has very thin DOF wide open. Second is from the Helios 44-4.

Huh, an interesting topic, and first time I've noticed it. Typically I'm trying to get at least one thing sharp in a photo, else I consider it a failure. Can't say as I've ever taken a shot just for the bokeh. Although I could be wrong. I'll have to take a look at my files and, well, if I come up dry, I guess I'll just have to do something about that. This could be fun.
