Kilfitt Makro Kilar D 40mm f3.5

I tried to keep the colors honest. It was a very mute overcast day.

Foreground and background bokeh at about 1 foot.

Just curious, are they all the same or is there a particular version that stands out among the rest?

mine is this http://forum.mflenses.com/sold-kodak-retina-reflex-slr-with-rodenstock-heligon-t44705.html
My friend has it from Retina IIa. I think mine is better in color and rendering.

Did you adapted the heligon to digital?

yes, but I can only use it wide open, the mechanism is too complicated for me, the older version is easier to use.
I use it in NEX5, heligon 50/2

^^ Nice. Do I see slight swirl in Pic 1? Or am I just seeing things? And a nice transition in Pic 3.

Yes, there is a hint of a swirl, it's just tends to be not very prominent on a slow aps-c lens.
