My friend has it from Retina IIa. I think mine is better in color and rendering.

yes, but I can only use it wide open, the mechanism is too complicated for me, the older version is easier to use.
I use it in NEX5, heligon 50/2

Yes, there is a hint of a swirl, it's just tends to be not very prominent on a slow aps-c lens.
