Interesting lens -
Is that f/3.5 across the zoom range ?
Is that hood retracted or extended ? If that thing is retracted, then that really is a hunk of a lens.
Is that a K-mount Adaptall ? Mine is a little different. |

It has two version
1) 19AH with constant 3.5 aperture

2) 52A this one with variable aperture from 3.8 to 4.8

19AH is slightly better lens. _________________ -------------------------------

I have the 19AH version and your lens appears to be considerably larger than my version. _________________ Michael Hill |

Thanks Carsten, it's really big. I have to take it from the middle.

Thanks attila, it's really nice. My first lens that allows 1:1 Macro...

Thanks Poilu, I'm getting used to the Pentax, and I'm liking it more every day, even with its shortcomings. But focusing is fine... At last!.

Thanks Bill, It's a bit heavy but I expect to use it a lot.

Hi Luis, it's retracted. You can see the lens cap at left, on top of the lens.
It's Adaptall-2 to K-Mount, bought separately. It fits perfectly to all my Tamrons.
Thanks for the clue, Attila. I'll be looking at that one. I'm loving the Tamrons as much as my russian lenses.
