Congratulations! It seems to be bigger than my Tamron SP 3.5/70-210 CF Macro MC 19AH.

Interesting lens -

Is that f/3.5 across the zoom range ?

Is that hood retracted or extended ? If that thing is retracted, then that really is a hunk of a lens.

Is that a K-mount Adaptall ? Mine is a little different.

It has two version

1) 19AH with constant 3.5 aperture

2) 52A this one with variable aperture from 3.8 to 4.8

19AH is slightly better lens.

Very nice results, congrats on the purchase!

I have the 19AH version and your lens appears to be considerably larger than my version.

Thanks Carsten, it's really big. I have to take it from the middle.

Wink Thanks Poilu, I'm getting used to the Pentax, and I'm liking it more every day, even with its shortcomings. But focusing is fine... At last!.

Thanks Bill, It's a bit heavy but I expect to use it a lot.

Hi Luis, it's retracted. You can see the lens cap at left, on top of the lens.
It's Adaptall-2 to K-Mount, bought separately. It fits perfectly to all my Tamrons.

Thanks for the clue, Attila. I'll be looking at that one. I'm loving the Tamrons as much as my russian lenses.
Jes.

Impressive results. There's a tripod mount available for it that might be worth keeping an eye out for.

They have mainly weight difference only, quality difference is so little.

I find Tamron SP lenses often to equal or surpass many 'quality' OEM lenses, and I hate to think of being without my 70-210. 19AH Wonderful shots there - hope you enjoy it for long to come! Very Happy
