I am missing something but Zeiss Jena Sonnar 180(200)mm is better then above F4 samples at F2.8. And it can be obtained for around 150$.

I own a Sonnar 2.8/180 and a Nikkor 2.8/180 and I disagree, neither is better at f2.8 than those Canon f4 samples.

Well, I dunno about that . . . the Nikon AIs 180/2.8 ED is a solid performer in my book, even wide open. All four of the following images are duplicates from slides, taken at the Chino, California Air Show, circa 1991. I don't think any were shot at f/2.8 though.

Those are very nice Michael. I have the older non-ED version and it's very sharp, but has CA. However, it is of the sort that Photoshop can easily correct, so it's a fine performer. Built like a tank too.
