Hi

Impressive images so far !

My modest contrib, those are my fav shots from this year.
First one is with the Aria & Planar 50mm Foma 100, the 2 others are taken with the 5D and the 1.4/50mm AF ( sorry ^^ ) lens.

Here are my 3 - 2 are from AF lenses though, is that ok Question

First - Gecko
Shot in a local zoo, using a Samsung GX10, Tamron 90mm SP MF and onboard flash with a flash EV of -2 dialled in. Shot wide open at f2.8

Second - Workmen on a lunch break
I was taking some shots of our local pier and as luck would have it the pier was fairly quiet. These workmen turned up on their lunch break and sat down. I managed to fire a few snaps off. Samsung GX10, Pentax 16-45mm at f22

Third - Tritned Rose
Using the same camera and lens set up as the pier but this time I used a Metz flashgun bounced off the ceiling to illuminate it in aperture priority at f9.5

But don't fear, I know 2 are AF lenses but my manual focus lens collection is growing Laughing

AF pictures...
Not very great, but memories behind them. Love it.

My top three were relatively easy. Number four is a tie with many. However, I like to believe I have yet to take my best picture.

The first and second pictures were both taken with my last P&S camera, an 8mp Konica Minolta. They were both taken quickly during a moment. The musicians shot was at night and I had to take it handheld and quckly as we passed. Still, there is something about this terribly flawed picture that I love. The second was taken in a crowd. The third was originally a test shot for a lens, but then I worked on it in Photoshop and turned it into a pseudo HDR picture. The two tiny objects on the floor are dog meat bones left there by my best friend. I didn't have it in me to remove evidence of her living here.

AF, p&s, HDR, mobile phone will probably follow
what a shame not be able to find 3 shots with manual focus lenses Twisted Evil

Beautiful pictures Henry, I love all three, many congratulations. The narrow DOF in the third one is a pity for me, I would have preferred to see the young lady completely in focus, but I respect your decision and I'm sure it's what you intended.

I didn't understand the forum subject to be exclusively MF lenses, it just asked for best pictures. These are what I consider my best all time, although no one is more disappointed than me that two were taken with a P&S. I wish I had my DSLR then. My third picture is with a Vivitar Series 1 200mm f/3, so at least that's one. Then if we were to consider that my top pick for MF best pictures, here are numbers two and three MF:
