This is pretty interesting. A kind of pancake lens.
Labelled "Bergsteigerobjektiv" (= alpinist lens) since it is so small and lightweight.

I have a similarly sized lens, the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 manual.

I used to have one even flatter, the Series E version of the above. They have stolen it with my photo bag years ago
