Mushrooms are everywhere this year and lots of them! Difficult to photograph though. Here's a few of mine:

I agree on the difficulty. Lighting is generally poor, and access means exposing your gear to wet debris on the forest floor.

The biggest challenge for me is finding a good looking specimen in a photogenic environment, which I haven't yet this year. Not every single individual does it for me and if it's surrounded by brown-green-black chaos that is 99.9% of the forrest floor, it will never look good. One thing you can do is try a long lens like I did with #6.
