Recently received a konica hexanon 50 1.7 and have been amazed by it's results.
Then thought... hmmmm.. what about the rikenon on the shelf that i've hardly used.
Well had a couple goes at 1.7 and it's no slouch either.
Yes there are lots of ziess, lieca, blah blah expensive to get now lenses that are better, but this was free and i love it.

Fantastic, I will say it again, these (Tomioko) lenses are brilliant, and in good hands can be as good as a helios 40
Love it especially the last one

Love the "Uno" shot, but cards are upside down Very Happy

This Rokinon is a sleeper for sure

Indeed, the last one rocks! You might have transferred a bit of Trioplan craze to humble Rikenon Tomioka Smile.

Fantastic! #1 and #4 clearly show the ability of this lens! Auto Rikenon 50/1.4 is a great lens, too.
