I really love the way this lens manages to isolate the subject matter, nice work.

What's the peak to the left in the first image? It looks really familiar and similar to a European peak whose name evades me at the moment!

That's Mt. Baker, located in Western Washington State. That's the South West side of it.

Thanks for coming back to me - I went Googling last night and had narrowed it down to somewhere in The Cascades, but prematurely dismissed Baker, St Helens and Adams as they're volcanic and your photo doesn't portray a classic volcano Embarassed

When reading about Mount Baker, I discovered that it's one of the snowiest places in the world, with the world-record for the most snowfall in a single season Smile
