Thanks for coming back to me - I went Googling last night and had narrowed it down to somewhere in The Cascades, but prematurely dismissed Baker, St Helens and Adams as they're volcanic and your photo doesn't portray a classic volcano

When reading about Mount Baker, I discovered that it's one of the snowiest places in the world, with the world-record for the most snowfall in a single season
