Anyone got some picture examples and experiences to share about this lens?

I think this one may be rather rare.

It might be more common under another name, thats fairly typical.

Why don't you post a pic of your lens, and maybe it looks like something someone's got ?

There are some 300/4.5 lenses from off-brands in the 1970's (Soligor, Samigon, Miida, Actinar, etc.. - and I'm looking for these, btw) that may share ancestry with yours, as Chinon sold under its own brand by the 1970's. There is an earlier design of 300/4.5 from the 1960's sold under brands like Accura, Spiratone, Telesar, Aetna, etc. This could be that one also.

300kr - $ 50 doesn't seem like a high price for such a thing.

I have never seen one like this, by the way, though it does look like the style of more common Chinon lenses.

Consider getting it for the sake of its rarity.

Chinon lenses are quality lenses as you can detect from speed.I highly recommend to take especially for this amount. They are generally better than other "noname" Japanese lenses.

Is Chinon somehow related to Fujinon?

Afaik, Chinon started out making lenses for Olympus, Ricoh and Yashica before they did their own complete lenses. And wikipedia states Kodak aswell as buyers of their stuff.
