If my other lenses don't sell I may put for sale one of my Flek 4/20, a zebra one, and to be even more precise, the copy I took the following photos with:

http://www.orio.ws/temp/piacenza_natale_2006/slides/01-400D_pc-flek4-20_061223_01.html

http://www.orio.ws/temp/piacenza_natale_2006/slides/03-400D_pc-flek4-20_061223_03.html

http://www.orio.ws/temp/piacenza_natale_2006/slides/05-400D_pc-flek4-20_061223_05.html

The price is 150 Eur + shipping.
OK it may not be the cheapest on the block, but consider these things:

- it is a great copy, tested to be great (with other Flek copies you always buy in the dark)

- it is in excellent condition

- I paid 212 Euros for it, + shipping, one year ago

- it is one of my babies (ok, I admit this is not really a convincing argument...)

Let me know if there is any interest...

_

Hi Orio,

I'm a new member here, but i bought a Tamron SP 300mm from attila via ebay. So i can somewhat say i know him Smile. Anyway, i'm interested in your Flek. I would like to know if you still have it, and which mount this lens is in. I'm looking for the M42 mount one. Thank you.

Hiep

Hi Hiep,
Yes I still have the Flek. The mount is M42. The finish is zebra.
I will make some photos of the lens, for you to see, but unfortunately not before 1-2 days because I am super busy with a work deadline.

Good to know that you still have it. Just send the pictures to my email: I sent to you in PM (Attila) together with your paypal account (this is my preferred payment method). Also, I would like to know the fastest shipment you can offer. Thank you.

I got the mail from Attila, thank you.
Fastest is express package, but that costs a lot of money, where do you live?

I live in California, US. It would be good if you can give me a few shipping options. Thank you.

Spot on Very Happy.
I followed this site for a long time. I read most (if not all) reviews on this site, and I based most of my MF lens purchases on the excellent reviews and galleries provided here. And I've learned so much from the way you guys bring out the beauty of these lenses. I have to thank all of you for creating such knowledgeable environment for new comer like me to the MF world.

OK, insured shipping is going to be expensive, because (as Bill already knows) the U.S. Post only accepts insured packages, not insured letters (in most of Europe you can send small packages as letters, and have them insured, paying a letter price and not a package price).

You have only three options (all based on the weight):

registered, not insured, letter (slow): 13,50 EUR
registered, not insured, package (3 days): 52 EUR
registered, insured package (3 days): 58 EUR

If these are not enough I can investigate about UPS or FedEx possibility, but I'm afraid price would be double or so with them.

Thank you for your warm welcome. Smile

@Orio: Wow, 53Eur. I used to ship laptops to friends around that rate too (admittedly i ship them in bulk so factor out for each laptop would be similar). I figure it would be around 30ish for 3-5days. Oh well, I think i would go with the slow option. Sad Just PM me your paypal, i will send the money 1st thing in the morning on Monday. Thank you.

Package shipping is expensive here. I always send lenses as insured letter because they are usually within the 2kg limit and well inside the size limits. As I said however US Post does not accept insurance on letters only on packages, as I found out recently.

Before choosing the slow non insured option please be aware that if the package gets lost I can not issue you a refund. Bill's Helios-40 arrived safe to Alabama in 9 days (if I remember correctly), but there is always a risk and I can't cover for mail failures without an insurance.

Are you sure you want to buy without seeing the images?

If you pay with Paypal there is the 4% fees issue, in Europe I would ask for the full coverage of the fees since the bank transfers within the EU are cheap and still resonably fast. However since you live in the USA, I'd like to offer you to share the Paypal fees 2% each.

Please make sure to make the Paypal payment in Euros directly using the Paypal's currency selector - otherwise Paypal would charge me with further conversion fees.

From Hungary slow shipment is fine, takes max. two weeks.
