I'm asking if anybody has any interest in pictures taken with Pentax-110 lenses.
I just found a number of test shots taken with an Olympus E-PL3, using some of the lenses originally meant for the tiny reflex for 110 film cartridges that Pentax designed long time ago.
Especially the 50mm and 70mm work really great, considering their size.
Unfortunately the diaphragm was in the camera, so most people use the lens only wide open, using a cheap, simple simple Chinese adapter.
Some others use a small washer behind the lens, stopping it down to f/4 or sometimes even smaller.
In my case, I had a stroke of luck: found an ingenuous german photographer who 3D printed an adapter that embeds a standard leaf iris that sits exactly where it was in the original camera.
The adapter works amazingly, but only on the Olympus E-PL3. On the Panasonic GX8 the tolerances are too tight, so I decided that I didn't want to force it, with the risk to either break the adapter or damage the camera.
If anybody is interested, I will post on this thread a few pics.
If other users have some example pictures, I'd be delighted to see them.

Cheers
Paolo

Of course there's interest. Those lenses can't be my first choice, since I use FF cameras, but that doesn't limit my curiosity. Most people use them to create some lo-fi look I think and, like you said, use them wide open. It be interesting to see a different approach as well.

The 50mm covers full frame - with a little vignetting, certainly not a circular image as you may expect. The 24mm and 18mm vignette badly

70mm seems very cinematic with special bokeh. I'd love to see more samples. Does anyone knows max. coverage?

Here is my Olympus E-PL3 (with accessory EVF) with a custom 3D printed adapter that includes a working iris positioned in the right place behind the lens.
The lens attached the camera is the Pentax-110 zoom 2.8/20-40mm

Here are two silly pics shot with the 70mm and the 50mm, both at f/4
