The 4/85 SF fujinon lens in M42 mount. With it's internal filter. Widest apertures, the softrr effect. From f/85 a normal and sharp 85 mm lens.

There's been a discussion on the Pentax Forums about the legendary Helios 44M swirly bokeh, and neither of mine seem to do the swirly thing to any great degree, there's some, but very very little.

Huh, I have a Helios 44M and I guess mine is like yours -- I don't recall any swirl effect with mine either. Just as well, I've never cared much for that effect anyway.

In C-mount , there's also the Cooke Kinic 25mm f1.5 with a heavy swirling bokeh

Diaplan / Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 would be my first reccomendation, too:

I remember You said elsewhere that 135mm Diaplan produces similar bokeh. Did You have a chance to try it out, any example pictures?

You might experiment with different examples of Meyer Domiplan 2.8/50mm. I've seen some cranky specimens.

Meyer-Optik Görlitz Trioplan 2.8/100. I'm pretty sure this lens inspired Apple's Arabesque screen saver Laughing (Just don't buy it if you have hidden epilepsia.)
