....on my Nex 3 due to frequent use of a foldable hood . In day light it became difficult to use for MF. Is there any solution to fix this ?

I don't see a solution but service by manufacturer. One tip: DO NOT TRY TO POLISH the Screen! I did this with my M9 screen and it became worse; had to change screen by Leitz and was an experience richer and some hundreds of Euro poorer....

How about stick a thin plastic protector to the LCD?

A replacement screen is not to much

It's not a coating - it is bubbles forming between the glass and the plastic sheet on top.
Just unpeel the plastic sheet on top of the lcd with a sharp knive and it will be as good as new

There is an official cover which you can stick on the glass later - it has a cutout for the light sensor also.

I've done this on nex 3 and 5n Smile

I suppose there is another foil than the one that comes on the screen when the camera is new? That one is a sticker with some red inscription on a side and I took it off at the beginning. I don't see a second one but maybe I should look better at the corners maybe it delaminates there?

Yes you should be able to peel off the foil from the corner. When you strip it will leave the bare glass surface. On 5n you can see even the touchscreen contacts and light sensor.

On my NEX5 the anti glare coating was scratched and battered, so in the end I just removed it by rubbing it with my fingernail. It was better without it. The coating on my A6000 seems to be far tougher and there's barely a mark on it.
At one point on the NEX5, after I'd removed the original coating, I tried a protective film which was rubbish, supposedly it was anti glare, but it was awful so I soon peeled it off.

Peeled it , replaced it with some optical glass 0.5mm JYC CHINA MADE .Problem solved for the moment, I don't know how well does it behaves in bright sunlight ,but it's incomparable better than the original one .So ,I saved the camera for the moment , thank you all. It would be odd to leave it at home in my next trip .
Just the removable foldable hood that I used until now doesn't fit anymore , so I'll use it without.
