Isco Göttingen Westanar 135mm f/3.5 black with silver stripes on one ring.

I got my sight on one of the above for about 15€... is it worth it, you think? I dont think the seller understands what he has, so its a bad ad and no other bidders.

I have no experience yet with F2 and F2.8 AIS, so this is the reason why I said NON-AI

I have a Meyer Telemegor 180/5.5

It ain't bad, looks interesting, simple, light and compact, works well.

You can also sometimes get it pretty cheap.

Chris
I have the 135/2 and 135/2.8 AIS and the f2 is definitely better - but not by a great deal. At f8 they are equal (of course?). From samples I have seen the AIS versions are possibly a tad better and it may be to do with the coatings.
