I have one roll of this B&W slide that I always delay using because I am waiting for a good occasion.
Has anyone of you used it, and if yes, what about sharing a scan or two?
Any comment on the use/results?

Great, I was seeking some Scala slides and that site also has Rollei ones!

5,50 is not that bad considering I will spare money because I will scan them and not print.

I use Rollei Digibase Pro's film, it's fantastic for scanning (low contrast) - has a bit of grain though

I wanted to try it but if low contrast means you get a scanned image with a compressed istogram I can foresee more quality problem than scanning high contrast slides where you just risk to lose some detail in shadows using prosumer scanners like my V700.

I don't know because I never developed Tmax.
For Scala I know that only 1 or 2 labs in Italy make it, you have to mail the roll to them and you get it back after minimum 2 weeks, more probably one month. It's a special process and they only make it a couple of times per month.

Low contrast means low contrast.
I don't think people at Rollei are idiots, if they produce such a film they must have a good technical reason to do so, otherwise they would not bother - and I bet that they know about film and scanning much more than me or you.

Scala is a reversal film which requires special processing. I only know of one lab in the US that processes it:

*expensive*

I wanted to try it but if low contrast means you get a scanned image with a compressed istogram I can foresee more quality problem than scanning high contrast slides where you just risk to lose some detail in shadows using prosumer scanners like my V700.

Low contrast means low contrast.
I don't think people at Rollei are idiots, if they produce such a film they must have a good technical reason to do so, otherwise they would not bother - and I bet that they know about film and scanning much more than me or you.

If I'd own an Imacon I wouldn't mind, but I wonder if a prosumer scanner would be able to catch the slight different tones of a low contrast slide or it just mixes them together resulting in a compressed istogram with a lot less color tones as it should.
