Took the kit into NYC for a quick walk the other day. I kind of like this... most of these are at f/2.8

It's NYC... they'll shoot you if they knew you were taking their photo. Wink

I just love the fact you show off NYC,I noticed the sign saying audio and video recordings may happen at any time!!...the eagle man photo.

Thanks for the comments everyone... I did post process a bit so the colors are not as saturated in the straight jpegs

Great image quality! I really wish I had lots of money to afford a Nikon system too... the D600 is really of my liking.
My two favourites in the set are "Eagle eye" (absolute winner!) and "Bicyclist looks back".

Thank you Orio! I wish I had the money also, I had to think long and hard about this... I got gift certificate money from my company as a 25 year anniversary gift, which was convertible to Amazon dollars... plus I have a credit card which piles up Amazon points... I paid my daughter's college tuition via that for the points. So I was getting the camera for a very low cash outlay. And daughter's a photo major in college, she was agitating for us to try Nikon for the better autofocus + equipment compatibility at school. I couldn't get myself to buy a D7000 over the equivalent Pentax, and wanted to use my old nikkors the way they were intended. So D600 it was.

I also bought a K-30, and the plan is for me and daughter to trade these as necessary between us.
