Thanks so much, I've just managed to unscrew that big ring tube so I see things clearly now. I'm still looking for a CLA tutorial ,as the optics it's pretty dirty and helical is completely dry.

Hope this helps.
Helicoid is actually extremely easy to clean and re-lube in this lens. Optics is pretty straightforward to clean too (like all Tessars, this lens have two separate glass elements in the front and one glued doublet in the back)
