I have a Chinon 55mm f1.7 lens which came with a Chinon CM-3 camera I bought a while back. Today I decided to try out the lens but the aperture is stuck wide open no matter whether the lens is set to A or M. The lens has not been damaged afaik and looks like new. Any suggestions as to how to go about a DIY repair would be most welcome. Thanks.

Read above link , must be pretty similar. Cleaning blades not the best job, without practice easy to take hours with re-assembly and also easy to make permanent damages.
