Hello !
I bought 3 copies of Schneider Cinegon 10mm 1.8 as a bundle (500e), one is just superb but the 2 others are out of focus …
I'v been browsing the net but I could not find any documentation on how to dismount them … I can see some screws and I'm wondering if there is a simple way to adjust the focus without dismounting the whole lens …
Any advice or documentation ?
thank's !
lolicht

What camera do you intend to use them on?

These are c-mount cine lenses designed for super 16 film cameras with a frame size of 7.41mm x 12.52mm But if used on the Black Magic, it will vignette, and will vignette even more if used on MFT cameras.

I'm sure you don't need three of them, sell the dodgy ones, I bet you will get $500 each for the two blurry ones, even with the fault described.

I havent a clue about adjusting the focus, it seems like a job for a professional lens repair man - they are worth it, these things sell for almost a grand each. It's not worth breaking one trying to repair it.

Thanks for your answer !!
I use those lenses with a BM pocket CC, it does not vignette at all and the result is great, a nice combo !
that's why I'd like to have the 2 other Cinegon working, for multi-camera filming …
No modern lenses deliver such a picture ! the other options in the 10mm area are some met modern lenses that give videoish pictures …
I'v a Kern Switar 10mm too, but I don't think it's a good lens ...

Congrats on acquiring great lenses you can use. Now I understand why 3 would be desirable. Ask a professional about adjustment, you dont want to break anything or make it worse. These are valuable lenses. Are there any video/film maker groups with more knowlege perhaps?
