Hi,
it is possible to adapt this lens http://allphotolenses.com/lenses/item/c_2140.html on Fuji X mount using the following adapter:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-ORIGINAL-PETRI-SCREW-M42-MOUNT-to-PETRI-BAYONET-MOUNT-CAMERA-LENS-ADAPTER/172735149073?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 ?

So basically Petri FT (Breech-Lock Mount) -> M42 (above adapter) + Common M42 -> Fuji X adapter?
The Petri FT Breech-lock mount of this lens has a registration distance of 43.5mm, right?

Thanks.

That pt adapter is for putting m42 lens on Petri camera, I think, so, no. You need pt lens to fujix camera adapter.

Yeah, that adapter was meant to permit use of M42 lenses on original Petri bodies.

You will have to adapt your Petri lens yourself. It doesnt look terribly difficult, but I haven't done this. There is probably an article somewhere.

Hi mate,how did you adapt Petri Breech Mount to mirrorlens? I've got the 55 1.8 and the 135mm both in Petri mount,but not sure if i could use em in mirrorless. Thanx

Thank you, sergun. That satisfies my curiosity. At times I was asking myself about this lens, its older version. But the adaptation is an issue. While if you pay for the adapter almost as much as for the lens itself, the question doubles.

I looked through your album. The lens is mild but a bit too special, watercolour to my taste. It might benefit from shooting with EV -0.7. Do you use it often?

I sold it a long time ago and now I regret it. Then I did not have a full-frame camera and if now to try on such I think the result would be very interesting. I think this is a unique lens with a special " pattern"

Both of them, the 55 1.8 and 135mm have very good mechanics ,smooth focus and very very good looking coatings , pretty much the same as zeiss c/y ,and wish i could try em on FF before let them go for cheap money....
