Hi,
The Volna-9 came earlier than expected.
And, I don't have the adapter yet.
can anyone tell me which adapter is good for my Canon EOS 5D?
Is there a AF confirmation adapter as well?

I'm near Adorama and B&H

For a direct fit you need a Pentacon 6 /EOS Adapter like this:
Click here to see on Ebay or a shift version currently for sale: Click here to see on Ebay

I haven't seen a P6/EOS adapter with AF chip but they may well exist. But there are two other options. You could get a P6/M42 adapter and fit it to a M42/EOS adapter with a chip, or you could buy a separate chip and glue it on the adapter yourself.

I was too anxious to try the lens, so I walked over to adorama, and bought the plain M42 adapter to EOS.
It fits nicely...

I think I'm gonna like this lens.
It's not going to replace Rokkor 58, but it is pretty sharp, and has a wonderful smooth bokeh.

In genera, the pictures from it has a diferent look...very saturated.

Are there different versions to Volna-9?
if so, where can I find the list?
