During the event I also made some shots on an expired Fujicolor Pro 160S, samples here:










One can notice the different driving lines used by the various top rally drivers.

Great set, love this type of action shots. Always great to see this type of results with a manual focus lens.

For this type of work I do find prefocusing of a proper MF telephoto on a fast SLR being equally effective as modern AF equivalents. At the end of the day this was the norm up to, say, 20 or 25 years ago, wasn't it?
In the past (late '80s / early '90s) I had also experimented with trap focus, using a Nikon F801/MF-21 & Nikkor ED-IF 500/4P combo, but with mixed results...
