Canon F-1N, 28 1:2.8 & 50 1:1.4, Ektar 100, Epson V750.

I think I'm going to really like this film. This is first try and I accidentally under exposed a lot of it but it still came out

Edit: I haven't been taking pictures in a while or been around except to stop in and take a look, but for some reason the pictures look really strange unless you click on them. Is it something I'm doing?

Welcome back Ron!

Your pictures is linked from Smug-Smug, no idea why it looks worst than if you click on it.

Nice pics, Ron, makes me home sick - we lived in Seal Harbor for a while in the late 70s

Thanks Jussi. Its a beautiful area in the summer. Right now as soon as you get away from the coast we have about 3 feet of snow.

There's some true grit in these images, Ron, well sand, anyway. Nice to
see you shooting again. Hopefully your back problems are in the rear view
mirror. Smile

Hi Bill;

I just can't seem to stay away from film no matter how bad they come out.

I haven't taken hardly any pictures at all for a year because of the back. I have it pretty well under control for a while now so I going to try to make the most of it.

How did you like the Canon A-1? I really enjoy mine.

Love the Canon A-1, one of my fave SLRs. Looking forward to more of
your pics, put some mermaids in 'em next time. Wink

BTW, Acadia is a great place, had to go through it to get to Winter Harbor,
which is now closed.

Mermaids.. Well I don't think they would like the temps. It was -14 F this morning with a high of 25. They would have to have pretty thick skin.

Sure wish you lived closer my friend.

I've been there last year.
Planning to get back. Next year.

It is a beautiful area in the summer. If you don't take some of the trails (there are many) you are really missing a lot. The bad thing is the tourist traffic in the summer. About like the traffic in Montreal when people are getting out of work. I'll never forget that from my last trip through Montreal.

Boy is it ever nice to see gorgeous images from a place I don't know
much about. These are actually fantastic for color (after clicking
into SmugMug), and the last one especially strikes me for the
massive hill in the background.

Thanks Larry that means a lot to me.

I wish that a lot of us that enjoy film lived closer so we could all get together once in a while.

I wish I lived closer, too, Ron, miss Maine a lot. Too bad I wasn't doing
photography when I was there. All the opportunities for a picture, sheesh.
