This lens was made by the Okaya camera company, who fitted it to their Lord 5D rangefinder cameras of the 1950s. It is quite easy to remove from the body (just undo the retaining ring on the back of the lens) and can be adapted fairly easily to a short helicoid and fitted to mirrorless. Some first shots:

Camerapedia states the lens is a triplet, do you think it really is?
IQ seems OOF somewhat comparable with projection lenses.

How does it handle normal scenics, so stopped down and not close-up?

I have no idea, since I never use these lenses for normal photography. Also the Iris was damaged so I removed it. I imagine it is quite good stopped down, since it is already quite sharp and contrasty wide open.
