Hello All,
It's been a while since I've been here. I just got done with a lunar photo session that turned out quite well. These old century lenses are famous for their native sharpness, but I used 50 separate exposures and ran them through a planetary stacking program, Registax. The reason for this is to somewhat mitigate the unavoidable loss of image quality imposed by atmospheric crud and disturbances.
I wonder, do any of you have this lens, and if so, do you know which f-stop gives the best sharpness? I plan to experiment and find out myself, but it would be fun and interesting to discuss with others.
