Hi all,
Now i'm so happy with my 5D's shaved mirror. It work geat with my 55/1.2 SSC(moderated EOS), Contax 18/4, 21/2.8, 25/2.8, 28/2.8.... Specially it work with Exakta-EOS lenses (they will not work on 1D/1Ds seri)

After that I must clean it because there were so much dust in view finder.

Sorry, PnR, but i agree with Nurkov. I think the EOS deserves a better or profissional mirror-shaving intervention, the way it is seems like you did the job with a handsaw,

Indeed is not a very fine work you did there PnR !!!


But as long as you are happy with it and can use all your lenses without future problems, excellent !!!!

Well done, good move! May good idea to buy a genuine mirror and if you wish to sell camera ever you can offer camera in genuine stage.
