I already know these faces. I went to the zoo with the 500/4.5 on the photosniper, hold it like a gun (I modified the sniper to add a telecommand on the trigger). You know, when I say I'm crazy, I'm not joking Razz

I think you should complete the set with a tripod like a mouring buoy. You can use the tripod you have as an extra support under the camera.
A bit less easy to handle in the zoo, I agree, but far more stable setup Very Happy!

It's the bellows in the middle that give it real class. Do they form the fine focus adjustment?

Can I have one of these in the f/1.4 version, please?

I have always wanted to use that photo-sniper set at plane spotting. Then count the minutes, before local Gestapo takes me for questioning.
